These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SociAI Technologies Private Limited (CIN U47912PN2023PTC219969) governing your access to and use of the ScrapeGuys website and data services. These Terms govern your access to and use of the ScrapeGuys website (scrapeguys.com) and ScrapeGuys data services - web data APIs, data feeds, dashboards and related deliverables (collectively, the "Service"). They are published in compliance with the Indian Contract Act, 1872, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 where applicable, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service. Where an order form, proposal or signed agreement exists between your organization and the Company, that agreement prevails over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.
ScrapeGuys builds and operates managed web data services: ready-made and custom data APIs that collect and structure publicly available web data, delivered as documented schemas. The specific targets, fields, volumes, cadence and delivery of any engagement are defined in the applicable order form or agreement.
ScrapeGuys is a technology and data services provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with the third-party platforms from which public data is collected, and all third-party names and trademarks referenced on the Service belong to their respective owners. Collected data reflects what target sources publicly displayed at collection time; sources change, and outputs may contain errors or omissions. Deliverables are provided for informational and business-intelligence purposes and do not constitute professional, legal or financial advice.
To use the Service you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, have the legal capacity to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 or the laws of your jurisdiction, and not be barred from receiving the Service under applicable law. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" includes that entity.
Where accounts or API keys are issued, you agree to provide accurate and current information, keep credentials confidential, and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for all activity under your credentials. You shall not share, sell or transfer credentials, create accounts with false information, or impersonate any person or entity. We may suspend or terminate credentials used in breach of these Terms.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In addition, you shall not: violate any applicable law or third-party right; attempt unauthorised access to the Service or related systems; reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive our software, collection methods or systems; scrape, crawl or harvest the ScrapeGuys website or Service itself by automated means without our prior written permission; transmit malware or interfere with the Service; resell or redistribute raw deliverables except as your agreement expressly permits; or use deliverables to harvest personal data or track private individuals.
Violation of this Section may result in suspension or termination of your access, without prejudice to other rights and remedies available to the Company.
Fees, billing cycles and payment terms are set out in your order form or the published pricing applicable to your plan. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store full card or bank credentials. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, and amounts remaining unpaid after notice may result in suspension of the Service. Published prices are indicative for scoped engagements and are confirmed in the applicable order form.
All Company content - the Service's software, systems, know-how, designs, documentation, trademarks and site content - is owned by or licensed to the Company and protected under Indian and international law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service and, per your agreement, the deliverables for your organization's internal business purposes.
As between the parties, you own the deliverables we provide to the extent set out in your agreement. Web data originates from third-party public sources; we claim no ownership over underlying third-party content, and your use of deliverables must respect applicable third-party rights and laws. "ScrapeGuys" and related logos are marks of the Company; other marks belong to their owners. If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use and implement them without obligation to you.
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT AND DELIVERABLES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY THIRD-PARTY WEBSITE WILL REMAIN AVAILABLE OR UNCHANGED. Where a signed agreement includes an SLA, that SLA defines our service commitments and your remedies.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE COMPANY AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL OR DATA, HOWEVER ARISING, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
THE COMPANY'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO THE COMPANY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) INR 1,000. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Company and its directors, officers, employees, agents and affiliates from and against all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, your violation of any applicable law or third-party right, or any dispute between you and a third party.
You may stop using the Service at any time; paid engagements end as set out in the applicable agreement. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, legal or security risk, lawful government request, or discontinuation of the Service. Upon termination your licence ceases, and provisions that by nature survive - including fees owed, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law and dispute resolution - survive.
The Company is not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war or civil unrest, epidemics, government actions, labour disputes, failures of third-party telecommunications or infrastructure, and cyberattacks. We will use reasonable efforts to mitigate and resume performance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Before formal proceedings, contact us at shakir@scrapeguys.com to attempt informal resolution in good faith within thirty (30) days. Unresolved disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator, seated in Pune, Maharashtra, conducted in English; the award shall be final and binding. Subject to the foregoing, courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing limits rights available under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 where it applies, or the Company's right to seek injunctive relief to protect its intellectual property.
Severability: invalid provisions are limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remainder stands. Waiver: no waiver is effective unless in writing. Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign freely. Entire agreement: these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy and any signed agreement form the entire agreement. Notices may be given electronically. These Terms are drafted in English. No third-party beneficiaries; nothing creates a partnership, agency or employment relationship.
We may update these Terms from time to time; changes are effective on posting with an updated "last updated" date, and material changes to an active engagement are made through the engagement agreement. Continued use after posting constitutes acceptance.

Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and we endeavour to resolve them within 15 days, or as prescribed under applicable law.
